September's show will be "Hukilau Night." Join the Barefoot Hawaiian entertainers for a night of hang loose, Hawaiian-style fun.

The Hukilau in Hawaii is a fishing party:  Everyone takes part in catching the dinner.  From learning the Hukilau Hula, to strumming a few cords on the ukulele, to singing along to old favorite Hapa Haole songs, it will be a night of saying farewell to this year's summer in Chicago.

In addition to the Hukilau show, the featured performances for the evening will include soloist Jonathan Carreira on his ukulele from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.  Plus, there will be a drawing for an overnight stay and breakfast for two at the Marriott Suites O'Hare.  The drawing is sponsored by the Barefoot Hawaiian and the lucky winner will be chosen from the evening's ticket holders.

Web Site Link Notice:

Where available and related, we provide links to other web sites where our visitors can go to obtain more information about a particular event.  Please note that we provide this as a courtesy to our visitors.  When you click on one of those links you are leaving the domain of the Barefoot Hawaiian web site, and we can make no claim or statement regarding the content or accuracy of those web sites.   So you do not lose your place in this event list, we provide your visit to the new web site in a separate browser window. If you have a pop-up blocker installed on your computer, you must allow our web site to create pop-up windows.

Accuracy of Information Notice:

Please note that we provide the information on this web page as a service to the many followers, patrons, and audience members of the Barefoot Hawaiian.  We also provide this information as an added-value public relations service to our clients at no additional charge in an effort to help them promote their event.  Since our web pages are frequently scanned by all major search engines and receive good rankings, this contributes to increased success to our client.

In providing this service however, we must advise all our web visitors and patrons that event schedules, timetables, and certain entertainment details of an event may be changed by our client or the event's promoter — sometimes with little to no notice.  In some rarer cases, an event may be cancelled.

For events listed here that are run by or sponsored by the Barefoot Hawaiian, you have our assurance that we will make every effort to notify our customers of significant changes and to post them here immediately on this web site and keep our customers satisfied and returning.

For events listed here that are not run by us but instead are run by, sponsored by, or promoted by our client entirely, which represents most of the entries on this page, the Barefoot Hawaiian has no control or involvement in that event other than being hired entertainment.  Once we have been informed of a significant change or cancellation, we make every effort to post that information here promptly — usually within 24 hours.  For that reason, we suggest you check back with this web page often and especially a day or two before the event you were planning to attend.  You should also be checking with the event's promoter via telephone, email, or their web site for possible changes that may affect you.

Beyond this public information service, the Barefoot Hawaiian has no control, authority, or ability to handle matters or arrangements that were made between you and the event's manager.   For these, please contact the event promoter/manager/sponsor directly to resolve any business, arrangement, or issue you may have with them, or to forward all feedback to them whether complimentary or complaint.  If however,  you have a complaint of significance that you feel we should know about, see the feedback section of our Contact Page on providing us this feedback.
