Lake Park Fest offers 3 days of fun

Barefoot Hawaiians [sic], Waterski Show, Sky Divers

The Barefoot Hawaiians

The Barefoot Hawaiians [sic] return to entertain visitors at the Lake Park Festival, sponsored by the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce, to be held June 15, 16 and 17 at Lake Park, Touhy and Lee streets, in Des Plaines. Their performances will be at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, June 16, and at 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 17. This excellent revue consists of professional entertainers from Hawaii and other parts of Polynesia. From the soft sway of the hula to the pulsating beat of the Tahitian drums, it is a spectacular display of the cultures of the South Pacific.


The Barefoot Hawaiians will perform at the Lake Park Festival, sponsored by the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce at Lake Park, Lee and Touhy streets in Des Plaines, at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, June 16, and at 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 17.
