Thanksgiving Day 2008
It's the 75th anniversary of the Chicago State Street Thanksgiving Day Parade and the 14th consecutive year that the Barefoot Hawaiian has been asked by Chicago to perform in it and represent the Polynesian culture in Chicago.
McDonald's Thanksgiving Day Parade (a.k.a. Chicago State Street Thanksgiving Day Parade) for 2008 was televised locally on WGN channel 9 in Chicago and in syndication across the country on WGN network affiliates.
Participating in the parade were our Professional Fire Knife Performers, Professional Dancers, Drummers, and Banner Carriers. We were unit #7 in the parade and appeared about 45 minutes into the broadcast of the parade coverage.
